About Tomás Enguídanos

Tomás Enguídanos is a Bay Area musician, educator, recording artist, and instrument builder whose work bridges Americana, Western Swing, Bluegrass, Latin music, and handcrafted acoustic traditions.

With decades of performance, recording, and teaching experience, Tomás brings a deep cross-cultural perspective to traditional and contemporary roots music.

A lifelong multi-instrumentalist, Tomás performs on pedal steel guitar, lap steel, resonator guitar, Puerto Rican cuatro, mandolin, and guitar. His playing combines deep roots influences with decades of live performance and recording experience.

In addition to performing and teaching, Tomás designs and builds handcrafted instruments and works with students and musicians across generations to preserve and expand traditional music forms.
